I’m Branden, freelance Games Journalist and the founding editor of this here site. I made TheLizardRock.com as a place to post articles, news, reviews, and such regarding video games and its industry. I’ve grown up around technology and video games my entire life, and it means a great deal to me that it prospers in it’s truth.
Since I am a fully realized human, I will sometimes write about non-video games related media. So while most of my content here will be about games, don’t be surprised if it strays from that focus occasionally.
I also produce and host a podcast! The Cozy Co-op is a casual approach to video game discussion where I talk with Justine, a creative author about a single game each episode.
Unfortunately (for you, not for me), I’ve taken up full time work as an evergreen editor for TheGamer.com! This keeps be proper busy, so contributions to my own personal site here has more or less come to a halt. So outside of the rare occasion, or hosting a guest article. This site will be pretty quiet or outdated.
If you want to keep up to date on what’s being posted to the site, I’ve put together some social media outlets that are synced to the site. Follow them at your leisure. Links to them can be found on the right side, on the top of the sidebar. Those are for the site, I also have a personal Twitter, which can be found here.
Want to tell me how much crap I am? How all my opinions are wrong? Or tell me how the people telling me I’m crap are, in fact, full of crap themselves? Head over to my contact me page, and fill out the web form.* I can be contacted that way for whatever purpose you deem.*
Monetization is a tricky thing, which is why there are no ads on my site. For more information, check out my Support page.
Alternatively, you can throw a couple bucks my way in a “buy me a coffee” fashion Via Ko-Fi. It’d warm my heart knowing you care enough to support my work.
I’m open to publishing work by guest writers. While I don’t currently offer payment for these, other journalists and writers are welcome to pitch a story to me, You’ll go through the proper editorial process making sure we are both happy, and externally published works look good on portfolios. Get in touch via the Contact Me page if interested.
Thanks for giving my content the time. I get that you could be doing something more interesting.
