The next batch of Nintendo Switch Online games is nearly here. On December 12, Wario’s Woods, Ninja Gaiden, and the Adventures of Lolo will be joining the NES library.
The first is Wario’s Woods. A less common title, one that I fortunately knew about before. It’s a block falling puzzle game, but instead of moving the blocks yourself like in Puzzle League or something, you control Toad as he navigates the board and moves the blocks. Plot-wise, it’s about Toad’s efforts to prevent Wario from destroying the local forest.
The second is the premier title, Ninja Gaiden. This infamous run-jump platformer is the first in a long line of games. Known for its difficulty, the player takes the role of Ryu Hayabusa as he discovers the secret of… something, I can’t honestly recall WHAT he’s looking for.
Finally is the Adventure of Lolo. Developed by Hal Interactive, this top-down puzzle game features Lolo as he rescues Princess Lala from the evil Egger. No, I hadn’t heard of this game before either.
These three games will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online NES Library, which is available to anyone with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Said subscription also offers online multiplayer, cloud saves, and all that. The most affordable deal is $20 for one year.
